SUSTAINABLE & NATURAL

Paper, skill, and patience. This is how fascinating objects are created in origami, and this clear aesthetic served as the inspiration for the cork rug Hello Origami. But it's not just the design that's exceptional—it's also the way the pattern is created on the rug. Using a special application technique, a second layer of cork is applied with a sewing machine, and the pattern is then cut out with a 500-degree hot needle. In this way, we have translated traditional origami into a two-dimensional surface. The cork rug Hello Origami won the Austrian Interior Design Award in 2023 and the German Design Award in 2025.

application area

The CLARISSAKORK rug is a wonderful addition to any room, impressing not only with its elegant look but also with its many functional qualities. You can use the rug in the following areas:

Hallway and entrance area: It withstands wet shoes and salty water. Light colors are recommended here, as shoe marks are less visible compared to dark rugs.
Kitchen workspace: Tomato sauce, red wine, oil – simply wipe it off with ease. Thanks to the joint-friendly material mix of cork and rubber, you’ll stand comfortably soft.
Dining area: A hygienic and easy-care rug under the dining table that also keeps your feet warm.
Living room: Even allergy sufferers can create a pleasant living atmosphere with this stylish floor accessory.
Bathroom: The rug keeps your feet pleasantly warm in the bathroom, and you can step on it right after showering while still wet. Dust and hair cannot get trapped in it.
Toilet: It helps maintain hygiene in your toilet while still creating a cozy atmosphere. The rug can simply be wiped clean.

Please do not use a robot vacuum cleaner on our rugs – it may damage the edges!

We recommend using our rugs as rugs – not as wall-to-wall flooring!
